Bennett, affectionately called Benny, was saved from an animal control facility in East Alabama right before he was to be euthanized. Poor Benny was falsely labeled as a problem dog, which we find to be totally wrong! This poor is incredibly sweet and gentle. He loves his people and gets along with all sorts of dogs, so long as they are polite as well! Bennett shares his space with another female dog his size and his foster states that they are wonderful friends. He is also house trained and has awesome indoor manners! Benny is neutered, up to date on all shots! He, however, is heartworm positive and will need treatment. As soon as this treatment is done, he will be available for his new home! He would do well in most homes, with or without polite children and perhaps a doggy companion! (Benny doesn't seem to love his feline neighbors so much, though!) His adoption fee is $125 and he will be fully vetted.
