MEET THE TEAM
POP Rescue Team is primarily made up of students and others around Auburn, AL who generously donate their time to fostering or otherwise helping animals in the area. Without them, Pups on the Plains would not currently be where it is today.
THE PRESIDENT

"My name is Sarah Stephens and I'm originally from Birmingham, Alabama and I'm a junior majoring in
Graphic Design! I'm the head of communications for POP so I am in charge of the development
of the website and I'm often in contact with other
rescue organizations."
"Hi guys! My name is Shelby Stephens and I'm a junior majoring in Communications Disorders. I started POP when I saw the need for fosters in the Columbus, Georgia area and I'm so proud of how far we've come. I've had a passion for dogs since I was little so this is my way of giving back to the community."
"My name is Riley Hovis and I am a sophomore studying Equine Science. I plan to go into the field of Equine Breeding and studying the reproductive systems and genetics of warmbloods. I have always had a passion for rescue animals but because of family allergies, we've never been able to rescue. Now I get to rescue dozens and have them fill the hole in my heart."

"Hey I'm Hannah Moates, the secretary for Pups on the Plains! I am a sophomore at Auburn University and am currently working to get into the architecture program. I also enjoy riding horses and painting in my free time."

I am the foster and adoption coordinator, so if anyone is interested in either fostering or adopting, feel free to contact me!"
